Versace goes high street

Student fashion ambassador Charly Gardner gets excited about Versace’s new collection for H&M.

Get your fashion elbows at the ready, girls, Versace has designed a new womenswear range for H&M.

From November, average Janes and Joes will be able to get our mitts on a bit of designer gold – at high street prices.

They’re not the first high end designers to work with the store – both Stella McCartney and Lanvin have both created affordable lines for H&M, causing fashion stampedes and queues around the block.

The Versace collection will be available from November, with a Pre-Spring 2012 line due in January. The womenswear collection will comprise dresses, jackets and shoes, featuring leather, silks and colourful prints and will be available to buy in stores and online.

If you’re anything like the girls, you’ll have your tent already packed to camp out in front of the store!

OMG, I am RIDICULOUSLY excited about this..! I remember when Jimmy Choo designed a range for H&M. I managed to get my hands on a pair before realising I had picked up two right feet! When I took them back they had sold out so I had to have a refund. Bad times :(
